Le Lyvet

The Lyvet marina, located in the municipality of Vicomté-sur-Rance, is on the right bank of the Rance basin just upstream of the Châtelier lock. This marina is opposite that of Le Châtelier (Saint-Samson-sur-Rance). These two marinas are in the river zone and the lock marks the boundary between the maritime Rance and the river Rance.

RANCE DAM LOCK
Levels at sea and in the basin must both be above 4 m.
The lock operates day and night, including Sundays and public holidays.
From 8:30 pm to 4:30 am, lockage only on request made in advance to 02 99 16 37 37, or by VHF on channel 13.

CHÂTELIER LOCK
6am to 9pm only if the Saint-Suliac coastline is equal to or greater than 8.50 m.
Lock opening times are known 48 hours in advance, except at weekends when information is available on Friday afternoon.

The lock operates on demand. No VHF channel is reserved.
