Bréhat Island

The island of Bréhat, off the coast of our port of Paimpol, is a veritable natural gem. Known as the “island of flowers”, it enchants visitors with its beauty and exceptional biodiversity. Accessible by boat, Bréhat offers an unspoilt landscape, with no cars or tarmac roads, perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all.

The Bréhat archipelago comprises one main island and 86 adjacent islets and reefs. It was on 13 July 1907 that Bréhat became the very first listed natural site in France! Stretching over 3.5 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide, the island is accessible by boat and can be explored on foot or by bike.

Anchors are not permitted in the harbours. Reception buoys have been set up for visitors (6 green buoys at the entrance to the Port de la Corderie and 9 green buoys in the Port de la Chambre).
